Woody: I just noticed your blog; so thought I would comment. I am really into outreach; and feel it is a very important ministry for the church. I have been helping people in my senior community where I live that need physical, spiritual or anytype of support that myself or the church can help with. Things like obtaining and delivering SHARE, taking to places they need to get to; praying; reading scripture; inviting and bringing to church functions; giving them information about medical and legal services available in the area; hugs and just anything I can assist them with. The Pastor is giving one of my Hospice patient's communion on a monthly basis and I am hopeful that I can bring her to church soon. I have a passion for older people and for outreach. I would like to be part of your committee; and do anything I can do to help anyone in need. Please let me know, what I can help with. Blessings, Lois McClain
